Glorious sunshine and blue skies are presented on most days in the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida. We have an awesome reputation for hot summers and dry, warm winters.
The predominant winds in the area are called ‘Levante’ and ‘Lebeche’. Levante tend to be fairly constant, stable and non-gusty winds coming off the Mediterranean sea. Lebeche occur around the Mar Menor in Murcia and rise over hills before gusting their hot and fast winds along the coast.
There is not as much choice with Air Experiences as Earth and Sea. But what is available is definitely worth a go! The most popular choices are hot air ballooning, flying light aircraft and helicopter rides. Other activities include microlighting, paragliding and new on the books – sky diving!!
